The playfield, cabinet, and legs decide how a foosball table plays and how long it stays true. Every Barrington foosball table has a laminate-coated playfield, 9 mm or 12 mm thick, an engineered wood cabinet, and adjustable leg levelers. The Allendale, Brooks, and Coventry stand on steel frames, and the Richmond and Irvine on engineered wood legs that level up to 5 in.

Rods, handles, and players decide how a foosball table feels in your hands. Every Barrington foosball table uses hollow steel rods (5/8 in on our Competitive tables, 1/2 in on our Compact tables), octagonal handles, robot-style players, and a three-man goalie. The Allendale, Brooks, and Coventry add counterbalanced players that stay level when you let go.

A well-built foosball table lasts for years with simple care. The cabinet and playfield are made to last, and the parts that see the most action, like rod bearings, handles, and balls, can be replaced one at a time. Keep the table indoors in a climate-controlled room, clean it with furniture polish, and keep it level. Your table ships small parcel in a single package, and setup takes two adults and a few basic tools.

Foosball tables differ by country in their playfield, players, balls, and goalies. American-style tables, like every Barrington foosball table, pair a hard, fast playfield with square-footed players and a three-man goalie for a game built on control and clean passing. Italian tables play faster on slick glass, French tables slower on a grippy surface, and most European tables use a single goalie.

Start with your room, then decide how you'll play. For smaller rooms and living rooms, choose a Compact table: the 40 in Urban coffee table or the 48 in Brooks. For a game room and regular matches, choose a Competitive table at 56 to 58 in, which needs a room of about 9 ft x 7.5 ft. Then compare the build and pick the style that suits your space.

Measure your space first, then choose by how you play. Our Compact tables, the 40 in Urban coffee table and the 48 in Brooks, fit rooms from about 6.5 ft x 7 ft and 8 ft x 7 ft. Our Competitive tables are 56 to 58 in long, with playing surfaces of about 46.75 x 26.75 in, and need a room of about 9 ft x 7.5 ft.
