How Is a Pool Table Delivered and Set Up?

Before Delivery Day

• Watch for the Carrier: Add a daytime phone number at checkout and keep an eye on your inbox: the carrier will call or email to schedule your delivery window.
• Measure the Way In: Check every doorway, turn, and stairwell between the front door and the game room against your table's package size. How Much Does a Pool Table Weigh? lists every package size.
• Clear a Landing Spot: Clear a spot just inside the door for the packages to be delivered.
• Line Up Help: To carry and to assemble your pool table, or book a local moving or furniture assembly service.

On Delivery Day

The carrier's two-person team will unload with a lift-gate truck and place your packages just inside your front door or garage (on the ground floor). Inspect the packages when they arrive. If anything is damaged, contact our support team within 7 days of delivery and include photos.

Setting It Up

Most of the work is done at the factory. Every table ships with its playfield mainframe pre-assembled and the felt already fitted, so there's no installer to book and no cloth to stretch. Average assembly time is about two hours, an easy afternoon.

1. Carry the Packages: Turn them on edge for doorways and lift rather than drag.
2. Find a Clean, Level Spot and Check the Parts: Lay everything out and check it against the parts list in your manual. If anything is missing, call support before you start.
3. Attach The Lower Apron, Legs, and Leveling Brackets: Following the steps in your manual. A power screwdriver helps if you set it to low torque.
4. Turn the Table Upright with Plenty of Help: Some tables are assembled upside down and then turned over; lift together and set the table down on all its legs at once. The Monteray 7 ft. 3-in-1 Pool Table's manual calls for at least six adults.
5. Level It, Then Tighten Everything: Use the leg levelers and a level to get the playing surface flat, then go back over every connection to make sure it's tight.
6. Finish the Extras: Dining sets also have benches, a rolling cue rack, and dining and ping pong tops to assemble.

What You'll Need

• Helpers: Enough adults to carry the packages and turn the table upright. Your manual lists how many.
• Tools: Your manual lists them. For the Monteray 7 ft 3-in-1 Tables, an Allen key and a wrench are included, and you'll need a Phillips screwdriver, a flat-head screwdriver, and a level.
• Space: A clean, level area in the room where the table will stay.
• Time: About two hours on average.

After Setup

• Lift the table to move it. Dragging it can damage the legs.
• Don't sit, climb, or lean on the table.
• Keep it indoors, away from wet or humid conditions.
• Clean the exterior with furniture polish spray.
• On dining sets, keep both snaps closed when the dining top is stored on the rolling rack, so the sides can't fall.
