Choose the Urban for a modern room: woodgrain with concrete-style legs, in 5 ft and 7 ft. Choose the Grant for an industrial edge: oak wood grain on black steel legs, at 6 ft. Choose the Camden for a bright, minimalist space: white steel legs under a warm wood grain apron, at 7.5 ft.

Turn the motor on, then wipe the playfield with a dry microfiber cloth so dust blows out instead of settling into the air holes. Keep liquid cleaners and wax off the surface, clear any clogged hole with a toothpick while the air runs, and cover the table between games. Replace pucks that are chipped or warped with pucks sized for your table.

CFM, or cubic feet per minute, is how much air the motor pushes through the playfield. More isn't automatically better: the right airflow depends on the table's size, the puck, where the motor sits, and the playfield surface. Our tables run 75 to 120 CFM, each from a center-mounted motor balanced to its size, from the 6 ft Grant to the 7.5 ft Camden.

Leave about 2.5 to 3 ft behind each goal and about 2 ft along each side. That puts our 5 ft Urban in a room of about 10 ft x 7 ft, the 6 ft Grant in 11 ft x 7.5 ft, the 7 ft Urban in 13 ft x 7.5 ft, and the 7.5 ft Camden in 13 ft x 8 ft. Choose the largest table your room fits comfortably: bigger tables are heavier and play faster.

Start with your room. Our 5 ft Urban fits a room of about 10 ft x 7 ft, our 6 to 7 ft tables need 11 to 13 ft of length, and the 7.5 ft Camden needs about 13 ft x 8 ft. Then look for airflow that's balanced to the table's size, a level and reinforced frame, and a scratch-resistant playfield, and choose the style that suits your space.

The playfield, cabinet, and legs decide how a foosball table plays and how long it stays true. Every Barrington foosball table has a laminate-coated playfield, 9 mm or 12 mm thick, an engineered wood cabinet, and adjustable leg levelers. The Allendale, Brooks, and Coventry stand on steel frames, and the Richmond and Irvine on engineered wood legs that level up to 5 in.
